Genesis Publishing Consortium Limited (GPCL) is seeking qualified individuals to join our esteemed team as reviewers for Computer Science and Engineering Research (CSER). About the Journal

CSER is an internationally recognized scholarly journal dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research in computer science and engineering. With a commitment to excellence, CSER is the proud member and indexed in databases such as Crossref, Wikialpha, and Google Scholar. The journal is also in process of being indexed in reputable databases such as Chemical Abstracts Service and more. Furthermore, we are actively working towards inclusion in COPE, DOAJ, Scopus, and Web of Science, further enhancing the visibility and impact of published research.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is highly desirable and will be considered a plus.
  • Applicants should have a strong record of research, demonstrated through publications in reputable journals and conferences within the fields of computer science and engineering. A proven ability to conduct independent research and contribute to the advancement of the field is essential.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for scholarly journals is highly desirable. Candidates should be familiar with the peer review process and capable of providing constructive and insightful feedback to authors.
  • Candidates must have in-depth knowledge in one or more specialized areas of computer science and engineering, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, software engineering, data science, or other relevant domains.
  • A strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct in scholarly publishing is mandatory. Reviewers must be able to identify and address potential ethical issues, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or conflicts of interest.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Reviewers will be responsible for conducting thorough, objective, and timely reviews of submitted manuscripts. This includes evaluating the scientific rigor, relevance, originality, and clarity of the research.
  • Ensure that the manuscripts meet the journal’s standards for scientific accuracy and contribution to the field. Reviewers should provide detailed, constructive feedback to help authors improve their work.
  • Identify and address potential ethical issues in submissions, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or conflicts of interest. Reviewers should adhere to the ethical guidelines set forth by the journal and the broader academic community.
  • Engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities, such as training sessions and workshops, to stay updated on best practices in peer review and scholarly publishing.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to maintain and enhance the journal’s standards and reputation. This includes participating in editorial meetings and contributing to discussions on improving the review process and journal policies.

Term of Service

  • The initial term of service is two years, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and mutual agreement. Reviewers are expected to commit to this duration and actively contribute throughout their term.
  • Reviewers are expected to review a minimum of three manuscripts per year. This commitment ensures that the journal can maintain a steady flow of high-quality reviews and timely publication of research articles.
  • Reviewers will receive a certificate of recognition for their contributions. Additionally, reviewers may be acknowledged in the journal’s annual report or on the journal’s website, highlighting their valuable service to the scholarly community.

  • A letter (up to 1,000 words) outlining how your qualifications align with the criteria for the reviewer position. This letter should include your motivation for joining the reviewer team and any relevant experience that makes you a suitable candidate.
  • An updated CV highlighting your educational background, research experience, previous review work, and any other relevant qualifications or achievements.
  • Please include your ORCID, Scopus, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, and Web of Science IDs, if available. These IDs help us verify your research contributions and professional standing in the academic community.
